Sooooo, glad I got these knives!! I didnt realize how dull my old knife set had gotten until I started using these!I like the look and feel of the handles, they're comfortable to hold for cutting the things with! Each knife has a cover that fits its matching knife well, which I hadn't noticed when ordering so that was an added bonus surprise I was happy about!My old knife set was only 4 knives, so all in all these are a major upgrade from my previous set. I feel like the price point was good for the amount of knives received, and the quality I am quite happy with!

These elitequo knives remind me of using non-stick, coated cookware for the first time. I never went back. I cook regularly and have a few pieces of upscale cookware that cost into multiple hundreds of dollars but still go back to my cheaper $$ coated pans for everyday for many things. These knives will be that go-to. There are some super expensive crafted knives but these particular ones are special, everyday, weekday meal preparation knives!There is a marked difference in just having the metal and the smooth transition between cuts when using these coated knives.These come with sheaths so they can be safely stored in a kitchen drawer without fear of being cut retrieving a knife. And then there’s no huge knife block taking up real estate on the kitchen counter!I kind of wish my Husband had not seen them yet and I could have gifted these for Valentines with a little corny note that his gift “cuts like a knife…” But he loves these! We cook together and are excited to have a great cutting set.There are six knives with wooden handles and as suggested, would make an awesome gift whether a house warming or for Valentine’s Day. And I really feel like any level of cook would be excited to receive this set!Lovely set with 5 deserved stars!

My husband and I love these knives! I have been wanting a new knife set for a while, but I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg for one. When I saw this set, I decided to go for it and try it out! It has every knife that you need which is great, and each one is perfect for the products I cook. I love the handles on these knives, they have a rubbery texture that is easy to hold onto so if your hands are wet, they won’t slip on the knife. The knives are steel even though they kind of look ceramic in the photos, they are just a painted steel. And the most important thing, are they sharp? Yes they are! They are all very sharp and cut through all kinds of foods really easily! Overall these knives are great and totally worth the price!

These are a perfect set for every need in the kitchen! They come with covers they are sharp and work great along with look clean and cute too!! Worth it for all of these knives!

Great kitchen knife set.I was thoroughly impressed with the quality on this 6-piece set from Elitequo.The handles are comfortable and secure in the hand.The blades themselves have a very nice powder coat finish, hold an edge quite well and each individual one has it's own fitted sheath/edge guard which is quite nice because these things are nice and sharp.Would definitely recommend these for the value and quality.

I got this 6-piece knife set for my son who is really getting into cooking and learning how to make all kinds of different meals. I'm giving these knives 4 stars instead of 5 because they shouldn't be cleaned in the dishwasher, which is kind of annoying, but if you hand-wash them they'll last way longer and stay sharper.The set has all the knives you need for everyday cooking—whether you're making dinner or just cutting up a quick snack—and they come with blade covers so you can store them safely in a drawer without worrying about accidentally cutting yourself or more importantly - dulling the blade. The blades have this cool speckled non-stick coating - It says that makes food slide right off and cleanup is super easy and fast but I don't know about that.The handles look like wood but they're not - they ARE comfortable and grippy, which is really important when your hands are wet. This would make a great gift for anyone who just moved into their first place or really loves cooking

All 6 knives have SMOOTH handles. The listing says the handles are wood. Could have fooled me. They felt so smooth and perfect in my hands. Wood? Felt like heaven to me (not literally.The blades have a unique white coating. This white coating matches the white plastic sheath included with every knife. I can't stress just how aesthetically pleasing these knives are. They look great and they feel really good in the hand.CONS: Some of the the knives are not "razor" sharp. They're all sharp for sure but not razor sharp. It felt like the 2 shorter knives were slightly dull. The serrated knife is EXTREMELY sharp.Fortunately, this type of steel is easy to sharpen with any home sharpening kit.SIZE: This set of 6 knives has a good variety of blades. EVERY knife is different from each other. This set provides a good variety of blade lengths (pic1).QUALITY: The handles are of EXCELLENT quality. Every blade has a beautiful coating. I was not able to determine if the knives have full tang blades. The sheaths are cheap plastic but are sufficient for the task of protecting the edge. Overall this set of knives are excellent. I would recommend this knife set.

These knives are great and they are sharp, very sharp. They slice through everything with ease and zero resistance. They are very light and easy to hold, so there is no hand fatigue at all. They look heavier than they are, but the handles are actually plastic. They are comfortable to hold, and for plastic handled knives with ceramic coated blades, they are very precise and balanced. I am pleasantly surprised by how well they perform. The assortment is good also. You have everything from a paring knife to a bread knife, so with this set you will be able to cut just about anything. The quality is very high and if you wash them by hand I think they will last you a very long time. Overall, they are a really great set of very sharp knives, and I definitely recommend them.

This is a really great set of mid-range knives. I really like the non-stick blade. I find that they slice through items like cheese easily. The handles feel nice in my hand. The knives were quite sharp right out of the box. I like to keep my knives on a magnetic block on my counter and these look great! They're very sleek and clean and modern looking.

This is an overall good set of knives. They’re no Zwilling or Henkels but for someone getting into cooking or to have as a set for another kitchen space like a basement or your outdoor grill, this set is ideal.It has an odd finish in my opinion but I can look past that. I do like that each knife has its own protector sleeve. That’s what makes this ideal for a second kitchen or food prep space as you can clean a knife, put on its protective sheath, and throw it into a drawer knowing you won’t get accidentally cut.The knives are plenty sharp by the way but that’s every knife when it’s brand new. So far, the chefs knife that I’ve been using has held up just fine to carrots and potatoes and frozen meat. I wouldn’t try to cut through bone - these just aren’t the knives for it.One thing I really like is that there isn’t really any knife you wouldn’t need. I’m thinking about those knife blocks where you get like 30 knives and about 8-10 knives are just steak knives. The most you’ll need is a chefs knife (the thickest one), a santoku knife (the one with the dimples), and a paring knife (the small one). You might use the bread knife occasionally so it’s good to have and the utility knife is just that - it will come in handy here and there. There is the other long knife that might be good for fish or a gourd type of vegetable.The only thing missing from this set would be kitchen shears but it’s still a good set for someone getting into cooking or as a spare for a separate food prep area. Wash them by hand and don’t put the knives in the dishwasher and they’ll last.

First and foremost: knives should NEVER be put in the dishwasher!There's too much of a chance of cutting fingers when taking them out.Dishwashers also put out a powerful blast of water which can. and usually does, toss the smaller knives aroundHand wash, immediately dry them, sheath them and put them away. I prefer a paper towel for drying to make sure they are dry.This is a great option for a mid-range quality and cost.Since there isn't any information from the seller the assumption is that the handles are indeed wood. They sound like wood when you tap them on a counter.The handles are nicely sanded and sealed. Grip is comfortable and they don't slip out of your hand when the handle is wet.I haven't found a knife set that lives up to the claim of "food doesn't stick" as some things will just stick due to their starchiness or "stickiness".Yellow onion: slicing good, chopping good. Did stick. It was a smaller slice and chopped small, so nothing unusualRegular potato: slicing good, chopping good. Stuck a lot but they are starchy and the taters stuck like they do on every knife, ever.Raw chicken: Typical stick, great cutsCooked chicken: great cut, no sticking (as with every knife, ever)Washing: normally the tater starch or onion juice will wash right off, these had to be "wiped".We have a medically necessary vegan so things get washed off, washed with a special dish cloth, checked with your hand to ensure all food is off, washed again. Sounds weird to rub your hand all over a plate/bowl etc but the smallest bit or even him using his wife's fork after she ate eggs is enough to cause severe pain (alpha gal - stupid tick)Time is the only thing that will tell how long they last but as a starter set, this is a great option

I’m really impressed with how sharp these knives are! They easily cut through onions, potatoes, tomatoes, meat, and I’d imagine any other veggies or fruits. I like the look of the white blade, looks clean and modern. It says hand washing is recommended, but I’ve put them through the dishwasher a couple times and they still look/work like new! I think the dishwasher just dulls them after a while. The handle of these knives does feel a little cheap, doesn’t feel like real wood. But it doesn’t bother me enough to lower my star rating! Each knife comes with a cover for the blade. The knives fit in a knife block that I already owned though, so I keep them in there instead of using the knife covers. I’m very happy with this set of knives, I feel confident recommending them to you!

I'll start out by saying that I love this nice assortment of 6 kitchen knives by elitequo. They are well designed and made. They feel well balanced and are comfortable to hold and use. The blades are super sharp and perform without effort. I love the non-stick surface on the blades as well. Trying to forcibly flex the handle produced no motion, indicating to me that they could be full tang, but could also just mean a really strong handle. The set also comes with plastic sheaths for each knife, which is nice. The handles are quite strong, have a rubbery feel to them for better grip and are convincingly made to look like wood, though they are not. The fact that they are not wood does not bother me, but they fact that the title states, "wooden handle" does bother me, so I had to knock off a star. It feels like deception (even though it states deep in the description, "wood-like"), but no deception is need to sell these very nice knives at their current price.
